1921

Querino Pacella immigrates with his family to Boston, Massachusetts from the Abruzzo region of Central Italy

1921-1939

Querino and his brothers work for their Uncle John Williams performing water and sewer projects throughout the greater Boston area until the start of World War II

1945

Querino and his brothers start the Pacella Brothers Corporation in the Dorchester section of Boston

1949

Ron Pacella Sr. begins working for the Pacella Brothers Corporation

1951

The Pacella Brothers construct the 60” Springfield water transmission line crossing the Connecticut River

1954

The Pacella Brothers Corporation along with other contractors in the Boston area establish the Utility Contractors Association of New England (UCANE) Ron Sr. is voted to serve on the Board of Directors as the Pacella Brothers Corporation representative

1957

The Pacella Brothers construct the 72” Stonybrook Drain project

1963

QRS Corporation is founded by Ron Sr. along with his brother Querino Pacella Jr. and Dan Shea.

1963

QRS performs its first sewer project for the Town of Braintree

1982

RJV Construction is founded by Ron Jr., Joe and Victor, the third generation of Querino Sr.’s family

1985, 1986

Ron Sr. serves as President of the Utility Contractors Association of New England (UCANE)

1986

RJV performs the Falmouth Force Main project from Jones Palmer Pumping Station to Woods Hole

1990

RJV Construction performs its first project for the Boston Water & Sewer Commission (BWSC)

1991

Ron Sr. serves as President of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA)

2009, 2010

Joe serves as President of the Utility Contractors Association of New England (UCANE)

2010

RJV completes the 48” Southern Spine Transmission Main project for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA)

2015

RJV completes the Reserved Channel Sewer Separation project in South Boston for the BWSC

Present Day

Joe, Victor, David, Ron III, Querino, Chris and Victor Jr., the third and fourth generation of Querino Sr.’s family, make up today’s RJV Construction Corporation
