Work on Perry Street in the south end is finishing up as our crew is laying the last pipe segments of a new 30” water main. Upon completion they will turn their efforts to Traveler Street where they will be installing a new 12” water main. Additionally, a second crew will be added to begin work on Washington Street in Dorchester installing a new water main.
Our crews in the South End and Dorchester have been working hard, In the South End we have finished installing a new 30” water main on Harrison Avenue and begun work installing a new 12” water main on Traveler Street. In Dorchester our crew is wrapping up the installation of a temporary water main on Washington Street to ensure all residents and businesses receive no interruptions in service when they begin replacing the water main soon.
